Madison Ward currently serves as Counsel at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) since August 2023. Prior to this role, Madison was the Government Affairs Manager and Policy Counsel at NASAA from 2022 to August 2023, and also gained experience as a Legal Intern. Earlier positions include Law Clerk at the Kansas Insurance Department and the Office of the Kansas Securities Commissioner, as well as Law Clerk in the Appellate Division of the Missouri State Public Defender's office. Madison's experience extends to a Crime Analysis Internship with the City of Overland Park Police Department and a Forensics Research Coder role at the Midwest Innocence Project. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the University of Kansas School of Law, and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Government and Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri.
