Melissa Sakow is an experienced professional with a diverse background in communications and education. Currently serving as Development Coordinator at the American Council of Learned Societies since July 2023, Melissa has previously held roles such as Assistant Preschool Teacher at Montessori Day School of Brooklyn and Director of Communications at Older Adults Technology Services. With extensive expertise in digital advertising, graphic design, social media strategy, and content development, Melissa has also contributed as Communications Director for SHARE Cancer Support and held various communications-oriented positions, including Communications Associate and Communications Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Media, Culture, and Communication from NYU Steinhardt and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Women's Studies from Gordon College.
