Joel Rake-Marona is a seasoned conservation professional with extensive experience in project management and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at the American Conservation Experience since November 2020, Joel oversees a team of 5 Project Managers and 12 Crew Leaders, while scheduling and supervising 70 corps members. Previous roles include Associate Banker at Quicken Loans, Conservation Crew Leader at the Arizona Conservation Corps, and various labor positions at the National Park Service and Yosemite National Park, where Joel developed strong skills in trail maintenance, ecological restoration, and volunteer management. With a background in wildland firefighting and a commitment to safety and effective training, Joel has consistently demonstrated leadership in challenging outdoor environments. Educational qualifications include dual Bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Public Relations from Northern Arizona University.
