General Position Summary
The Senior Director, Member Sales & Engagement will report to the SVP, Member Relations and be responsible for leading the membership growth, retention and engagement strategies for the trade association. This role will focus on expanding the membership base, increasing member engagement, and driving new revenue opportunities through member recruitment, member dues increases, non-dues revenue opportunities, and other business initiatives. The Senior Director will work closely with the SVP and greater membership operations and strategy team to align membership approach and programs with the association’s overall goals and mission.
The Senior Director will also interact with all levels of staff within ACP and with key external stakeholders and members. Excellent communication skills, professionalism, organizational skills and a desire to learn the industry are necessary attributes for this position. The renewable energy industry is a fast paced, emerging space and ACP’s Member Relations team reflects that and manages priorities accordingly. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise and grow within a rapidly growing industry.

This position may experience high-level work demands and independent decision-making under tight timelines. Occasional travel outside of the Washington, DC area for meetings or events required. We reasonably believe that the base salary range for this position is $130,000- 160,000 with additional commission and/or bonus. At ACP, a wide range of factors are considered when making compensation decisions including and not limited to skill set, experience, training, education, knowledge, and other business and organizational needs.
