Gretchen Groves possesses extensive experience in communications and marketing, with a prominent role as Director of Regional Integrated Marketing at the American Cancer Society since March 2007. Responsibilities include providing communications counsel, managing crisis communications, and developing community engagement strategies. Gretchen has a strong background in media relations, having coordinated press materials and community events while effectively fostering relationships with various stakeholders. In addition, Gretchen has served as Head Varsity Cheer Coach at Central Catholic High School since April 2015, overseeing teams and choreography. Previous roles include coaching and program directing at Portland Public Schools and positions in marketing and promotions at Clear Channel Communications. Education includes a BS in Speech Communication from Portland State University.
