Catherine Curry has extensive experience in the field of education and camp management. As the Director of Latin 360° at the Latin School of Chicago since January 2002, Curry has played a key role in educational leadership. Concurrently, since 2003, Curry has served as a First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor for the American Red Cross. In July 2018, Curry became the President of the Board of Directors for the American Camp Association, Illinois, an organization dedicated to promoting camping experiences for children and supporting camp professionals. Previous roles with the American Camp Association included serving as a Board Member at Large, Secretary, and Vice President for the ACA-Illinois section, along with participation in the Conference Leadership Team. Earlier career experience includes serving as Executive Director at The Fowler Center for Outdoor Learning and as a Camp Counselor and Assistant Director of Program. Curry holds a BA in Developmental and Child Psychology from the University of Chicago.
