Caroline Prendergast, PhD, currently serves as a Psychometrician at the American Board of Surgery since July 2022. Previously, Caroline held the position of Doctoral Assistant at the Center for Assessment and Research Studies at James Madison University from June 2018 to May 2022, as well as Research Associate for the PIRLS Reading project at Boston College's IEA's TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center between June 2015 and May 2018. Earlier roles include Writing Tutor at the James Madison University Writing Center and Teaching Assistant in the JMU Department of Undergraduate Psychology from 2011 to 2015, along with an internship with the American Psychological Association's Books and Publications Directorate. Caroline holds a PhD in Assessment & Measurement from James Madison University (2018-2022), an MEd in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment from Boston College (2015-2018), and a BS in Psychology and Writing & Rhetoric from James Madison University (2010-2015).
