Theresa Howell Williams, MD, is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and Psychiatry Liaison for the Brain Injury Rehab Service at the San Antonio Military Medical Center, a position held since February 2011. In addition to this role, Theresa has served as a Diplomate with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. since 2011 and holds the title of Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Health San Antonio since July 2007. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Psychiatrist at the Department of Veteran Affairs from July 2007 to February 2011. Theresa obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from UT Health San Antonio, completing studies from 2003 to 2007, and a Bachelor's of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from The University of Texas at San Antonio, with studies from 1995 to 1998. Early education includes a high school diploma from Falcon High School, earned between 1981 and 1984.
