Jim McGowan has extensive experience in data science and business intelligence, currently serving as a Ministry of Intelligence Engineer at American Bible Society since September 2018. Previously held the position of Data Science Director at BrainDo, a digital marketing agency, where management and mentorship of data scientists were key responsibilities. Additional roles include Independent Consultant at MineTrove, focusing on optimizing marketing budgets, and Enterprise Marketing Technical Consultant at Farmers Insurance, where media attribution reporting was developed. Earlier experience encompasses positions at 21st Century Insurance, AIG, and leadership in business consulting through Dartanian Consulting. McGowan also co-owned Sam's Morning Glory Diner and has a strong background in competitive rowing, with multiple medals at national and international regattas. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Boston University and participation in actuarial training.
