John B. has extensive experience in both military and civilian roles. Currently serving as a US Marine Corps Officer in the United States Marine Forces Reserve since February 2011, John has held various positions including Adjunct Faculty at Davis Defense Group, Inc., Business Consultant at Hampsfell Limited, and Marketing Coordinator at Portsmouth Cathedral. Previous roles include Company Secretary at Brooks & Bolt Communications, LLC, Account Executive - Executive Search Consultant at Lucas Group, and Commercial Sales Representative at Mobile Modular. John began a military career as a US Marine Corps Officer from June 1999 to September 2008 and initially worked as a Gallery Assistant at Revolutionary Spaces. John holds a PhD and MA in History from the University of Portsmouth, a BA in History with a minor in English & International Studies from the Virginia Military Institute, and a Diploma of Education in Landscaping and Groundskeeping from Penn Foster Group, among other educational qualifications.
