Morgan Taylor has a diverse work experience across various organizations. In 2009, they worked as a Student Instructor at Oakland Community College. In 2010, they interned at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP as a Research Intern. Later in 2012, they served as a General Program Intern at Human Rights First. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Research Analyst at Excelencia in Education. They then joined the American Council on Education, where they held multiple roles, including Policy Research Analyst, Senior Research Analyst, and Associate Director of Research from 2016 to 2023. Currently, Morgan is the Director of Research and Business Intelligence at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU).
Morgan Taylor's education history began in 2007 when they attended Grand Valley State University. They completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Spanish in 2011. Afterward, from 2011 to 2013, Morgan pursued a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) degree with a focus on Social Policy at The George Washington University.
