Candida M. has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Candida has held various roles in different organizations, ranging from being the Chief Operating Officer at the American Association of Geographers to owning and running their bookstore, Candida's World of Books, LLC. Candida'sexperience includes managing international development programs, producing news reports, and coordinating conferences. Candida has a proven track record of leadership and successful ventures in both the non-profit and private sectors.

Candida M. completed their High School Diploma at AISF in 1985. Candida then went on to earn a International Baccalaureate in Humanities from St. Clare's, Oxford in 1986. Candida continued their education at Swarthmore College, where they received a BA in German Language & Literature in 1989. Candida furthered their studies at Yale University, earning an MA in German Language and Literature in 1990. Lastly, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in European Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in 1993.
