Leslie E. Kolb has a diverse work experience in healthcare organizations. From 2003 to 2008, they served as the Director of Quality Improvement at the Illinois Foundation for Quality Health Care, where they managed a team and led various Medicare quality improvement contracts. This role involved conducting surveys and investigations in accordance with federal laws and protocols.
Since 2009, Leslie has been associated with the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES). Leslie E. initially held the position of Vice President of Science and Practice, overseeing the organization's scientific and practical initiatives. In 2018, they were promoted to Chief Science, Practice & Learning Officer, responsible for strategic leadership in science, practice, and learning areas. Currently, Leslie serves as the Chief Operating Officer, a role they took on in 2023.
Alongside their work at ADCES, Leslie also served as the Director of Accreditation and Quality Initiatives at AADE since 2009.

Leslie E. Kolb DrPH, MBA, RN's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Lewis University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, which they completed in 1994. Following this, in 2006, Leslie pursued higher education at the University of Phoenix and obtained an MBA degree in Management/Leadership, completing their studies in 2008.
Continuing their educational journey, Leslie enrolled in Capella University in 2018 to pursue a Doctor of Public Health degree in the field of Public Health. They are expected to complete their studies in 2022.
In terms of additional certifications, Leslie achieved the President's List recognition in Fall 2020 from Capella University. This certification was awarded in February 2021.
