Kristi Quinn serves as the Board President of the American Association of Community Theatre since June 2023, following a long-standing involvement with the organization as a Festival Commission and Adjudicator since 2008. Previous experience includes the role of Regional Development and Operations Director at Susan G. Komen Siouxland from December 2013 to November 2017, and Director of Community Development and Economic Development at the Siouxland Interstate Metropolitan Planning Council (SIMPCO) from 2006 to December 2013. Quinn has also held executive director positions at various community theaters, including Sioux City Community Theatre and City Community Theatre, and has served as Executive Director for the South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce. Educational background includes a BA in English, theatre, and art from Morningside University and coursework at RMIT University.
