Mark Camper has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mark is currently the Vice President of Publications/Editor-in-Chief at the American Association of Christian Counselors since September 2020. Prior to this, they served as the President of Blue Ridge Editing & Consulting, LLC starting from July 2014. Mark has also worked at the American Association of Christian Counselors in multiple positions, including Managing Editor/Director of Publications from July 2003 to September 2018, and Project Manager/Print Buyer/Director of Student Chapters from September 2000 to July 2003. Before that, they were the Director of Admissions at Liberty University from 1997 to 2000. Mark held positions at Southern Virginia College (now Southern Virginia University) as the Director of Admissions from 1996 to 1997 and Associate Director for Marketing and Special Projects from 1995 to 1996. Mark also worked as a Sales Representative at Voice-Tel of Virginia from 1994 to 1995. Earlier in their career, Mark served as the Executive Assistant to the National President at the National Veterans Affairs Council from 1993 to 1994. Mark started their career as an Associate Director of Admissions at Southern Seminary College (now Southern Virginia University) from 1992 to 1993 and as an Admissions Counselor from 1991 to 1992. Mark also has experience as an Advertising Account Executive at Dominion Publications, Inc. from 1990 to 1991, and various roles such as Advertising Manager, Assistant Merchandising Buyer, and Advertising Sales Promotion Coordinator at The Linen Center of Brown Group Retail, Inc. (now Brown Shoe Company) from 1988 to 1990.

Mark Camper attended Liberty University from 1984 to 1988, where they pursued a double major in Journalism and Telecommunications. Mark successfully completed their Bachelor of Science degree during this period.
