Jennifer C. Lai, MD/MBA, serves as a Professor of Medicine, Endowed Professor of Liver Health and Transplantation, and Director of UCSF Advancing Research in Clinical Hepatology at the University of California, San Francisco, where responsibilities include hepatology and liver transplantation. Jennifer is an NIH-funded clinician-investigator with a history of roles such as Assistant Professor at UCSF and Transplant Hepatology Fellow. Currently, Jennifer also acts as a member of the FDA Gastrointestinal Drug Advisory Committee and holds editorial positions with the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and formerly with the American Journal of Transplantation.
