Heather Drought

Heather Drought currently serves as the Managing Editor at the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine, a position held since January 2022, after previously working as Assistant Managing Editor. Prior experience includes roles as Editorial Coordinator at the American Society for Microbiology from March 2017 to January 2022, and as Senior Peer Review Associate and Peer Review Associate at Kaufman Wills Fusting & Company from July 2013 to March 2017. Earlier in the career, Heather worked as a Senior Research Assistant at The George Washington University from December 2009 to June 2013 and in various capacities in Contract Archaeology from May 2006 to November 2009. Heather holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with additional study abroad experience at The American University in Cairo.
