Marcio Denis began their career in 2014 as the Chief of Medical Oncology at the Hospital de Clinicas Universitario in La Paz, Bolivia. In 2015, they became a member of both the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). Furthermore, in the same year, they joined the American Association for Cancer Research. In 2016, they started working as a Medical Oncologist at the Militar Hospital "COSSMIL" in La Paz.
