Michael Arias, DO, MPH, CPT USAR, is a dedicated physician in training at Larkin Community Hospital, serving as the PHiT Ambassador for the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPM&R). Michael has extensive leadership experience in the United States Army Reserve, where responsibilities include commanding healthcare personnel and executing military training programs. Michael demonstrates strong organizational skills as the former National Conference Committee Chair for the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, planning significant meetings and events. Previous roles include President of Operation Smile, managing volunteer efforts for children with cleft conditions, and a Research Assistant at the USC Diabetes and Obesity Research Institute, contributing to significant public health research. Academic credentials include a DO from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, an MPH from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Biology from UCLA.
