Dennis Ledford serves as the President of the Faculty Council at the Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida, since September 2012, while also holding the position of Mabel & Ellsworth Simmons Professor of Allergy and Immunology at the University of South Florida since August 2012. Dennis Ledford is actively involved in both teaching and research, contributing to the fellowship program and mentoring residents and medical students. Previously, Dennis Ledford has held leadership roles within the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, including Past-President since March 2012 and President from 2011 to March 2012. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
