Austin Gibbons is a seasoned professional in the energy and utilities sector with extensive experience in project management and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Ameresco since April 2022, Austin has previously held positions as a Senior Project Engineer at DES Group Ltd and Site Utilities Manager at Glanbia Nutritionals. In the latter role, Austin led a utilities team responsible for the operation and maintenance of various utility systems at Glanbia's Cheese & Whey Production facility. Austin's earlier experience includes working as an Energy Manager at Glanbia and as an Energy Engineer at Ervia, where energy audits were conducted as part of implementing an ISO:50001 Energy Management System. Austin holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering from University College Cork and a Bachelor’s Degree in Energy from the University of Limerick.
