Yash Mehta currently serves as the Lead for Human Rating, Human Factors, and Industrial Engineering at Jacobs, managing a team focused on NASA Exploration Ground Systems. With a strong background in human factors and human-systems integration, Yash has held various engineering positions at NASA, leading critical projects related to launch systems and operational improvements. As a Ph.D. candidate at the Florida Institute of Technology, Yash's research centers on safety modeling and human-computer interaction in space missions. Prior experience includes roles as a Business Analyst and Human Factors Engineer at Plenar Technologies and doctodoor, mentorship at Groundswell Ventures, and research at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Yash's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Human-Centered Design, a Master's in Aeronautics with a focus on human factors, and an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
