Richard Hayes, PMP has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Richard currently holds the role of Vice President Operations at Amentum since November 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Operations at DynCorp International, overseeing site operations and various departments in Southern Afghanistan for US and Coalition forces. Richard was responsible for managing over 17,000 employees at 56 locations under the LOGCAP IV contract.

Before joining DynCorp International, Richard worked as the Special Projects Manager at B1 Logistics from May 2006 to January 2009. Richard also held the position of Regional General Manager at American Pad & Paper, LLC from November 2000 to May 2006.

Richard's previous roles include being the General Manager at American Pad & Paper, where they supervised a multi-site manufacturing and distribution operation with a significant budget and revenue responsibility. Richard also worked as the Operations Manager at Adams Container Corporation and the Production Manager at Gaylord Container Corporation.

Richard's career began in the US Army, where they served as an Infantry Officer from May 1984 to January 1990, holding various leadership positions and being qualified in airborne and ranger training. As a result of their military experience, Richard brings strategic planning and logistical expertise to their professional roles.

Richard Hayes, PMP completed their undergraduate education from 1980 to 1984 at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Richard obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Science/Electrical Engineering during this time.
