Dean Fox has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity, defense, and technology solutions. Dean has held various leadership roles in companies and organizations such as Amentum, AFCEA International, AECOM, USINDOPACOM, AFCEA Hawaii, HQ United States Indo-Pacific Command, USAF, and PACAF A6. In these positions, Dean has been responsible for developing and delivering cybersecurity, resiliency, operational resiliency, and innovative technology programs for the Department of Defense, international communities, critical infrastructure, and the private sector. Dean has also provided strategic guidance, counsel, and interpretation of policies to strengthen chapters, maintain growth, and increase member participation within AFCEA. Dean's expertise includes advising senior leadership on political-military affairs, international dynamics, and emerging technology, as well as directing comprehensive assessments of security issues and critical partnerships. Additionally, they have led organizations, managed communication and information systems, and implemented funding strategies for tactical and satellite communication systems.
Dean Fox has a Masters degree in Strategic Studies/International Security Affairs and Relations from Air War College, completed in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained an MS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from Arizona State University between 1986 and 1988. In 1985, they earned MA in Information Resource Management from Webster University, and before that, from 1979 to 1983, they attended Angelo State University and received an MS degree in Computer Science.
