Shana Higgins has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Shana began their career at ASERACARE HOSPICE - HAMILITON, LLC in 2013, where they started as a weekend nurse and was later promoted to Patient Care Coordinator. Shana then progressed to become the Director of Hospice Operations. AseraCare was later acquired by Amedisys Hospice, where Shana currently holds the position of Area Vice President of Clinical. In 2022, they were promoted to Director of Operations at Amedisys.

Shana Higgins has a degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Northwest Shoals Community College-Muscle Shoals.
