Scott Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning different roles in various companies. Scott started their career as an Employment Specialist at Olive Crest in 2003. From there, they worked as an HR Manager at The GDR Group, focusing on IT staffing. In 2007, they transitioned to the role of a Recruiter at Extreme Academy and Learning Center, where they managed full-cycle recruiting. Scott then joined Willis Towers Watson in 2009 as an HR Shared Services and Payroll Coordinator, responsible for payroll processing and HR management. Scott later moved on to become an HRIS Business System Analyst, supporting multiple HR applications and providing user support. At Southpointe Community Church, they served as a Communications Coordinator, overseeing the church's communication strategy and rebranding efforts. Currently, Scott is working at Amedisys as a Talent Systems Team Lead, managing system configuration, security access, vendor integrations, and user support.

Scott Phillips earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Church Ministry from Southeastern University from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they studied Mass Communication/Media Studies at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania from 1995 to 1997. Scott also obtained additional certifications including Rebel Brands - Digital Marketing seminar from Circle One Fifty in 2016, Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification from Salesforce in 2016, Salesforce Certified Administrator certification from Salesforce in 2015, Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie Training of Tennessee in 2015, and ADP Payroll and Benefits Training from ADP in 2007.
