Rajesh R. is a seasoned professional in the power and energy sector, currently serving as Senior Manager - Business & Project Development at AMEA Power since February 2019. Rajesh has led multiple greenfield projects, including significant wind and solar developments across Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia, and has a strong background in co-development and origination of power infrastructure opportunities, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa and Central Asia. Prior roles include Senior Analyst at Access Power Limited, where Rajesh was involved in business development, project management, and engineering for solar and wind projects in various regions, alongside contributions to energy policy reports at the Indian Institute of Public Policy. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering for Sustainable & Renewable Energy from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University. Rajesh is also a co-founder of the Solarillion Foundation, promoting solar energy awareness among youth.
