Mary Alejo, P.Eng. is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in open-pit and underground projects across multiple regions, including Australia, West Africa, the Americas, and Europe. Currently serving as Principal Mining Engineer at AMC Consultants since January 2014, Mary has contributed significantly to Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies, mineral reserves estimation, and life-of-mine strategic planning. Previous roles include Geotechnical Engineer at CSA Copper Mine and Ground Control Engineer at Kirkland Lake Gold, where Mary focused on ground support systems, seismic monitoring, and safety audits. Mary began their career as a Rock Mechanics Engineer at Mopani Copper Mines PLC and has held various engineering roles since earning a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the National University of Engineering.
