David K. Opong-Wadee is an experienced professional in legislative and political affairs, currently serving as Manager at the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association since January 2022. Prior roles include President and CEO of ForWard Progress, LLC, Law Clerk at Temple Law Offices, Judicial Clerk at Maryland’s 10th District Court, and Special Assistant to General Counsel at DC Department of General Services. David has significant experience in community engagement as the Community Engagement Director for Sunshine State Voters and the Southern Regional Political Director for O'Malley for President. A former Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, David has worked closely with various legislative issues and has held leadership roles, including President of the Congressional Black Associates. David's academic credentials include a Doctor of Law from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Grinnell College.
