Simon Buus Jensen is an experienced Data Scientist at Ambolt since October 2019 and a PhD Fellow at the Visual Analysis and Perception (VAP) lab at Aalborg University since August 2021, focusing on Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and AI for SMEs in Denmark. Previous roles include Machine Learning Engineer at Dawn Health, where systems were developed for leading pharmaceutical companies, and Graduate Research Student at Daimler AG's autonomous driving R&D team, specializing in Deep Learning and Sensor Fusion. Additional experience includes positions as a System Developer at both ConWx and LESSOR A/S, as well as military service. Simon holds a Cand.IT in Software Development & Technology from IT-Universitetet i København, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from ETH Zürich, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Aalborg University.
