David Lu has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. David is currently working as a Software Engineer at Ambient.ai since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Google as a Software Engineer from September 2017 to February 2020. Before joining Google, David worked at Area 1 Security as a Software Engineer from March 2015 to August 2017. David also has experience working at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer from August 2011 to February 2015. Prior to that, they had internships at SolarWinds in 2008 and Applied Research Labs at the UT in 2006.

David Lu completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, from 2007 to 2010. Later, from 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
