Dylan Simpson is currently working as a Lead Product Designer at Verta, a Palo Alto-based startup specializing in software infrastructure for data science and machine learning teams. With over 15 years of experience, Dylan has a strong background in delivering solutions to complex UX problems. Prior to this, Dylan served as a Principal UX Designer at Sage Intacct, Inc., where they were responsible for managing the design system and design patterns. They also worked closely with development and product management to ensure that the design patterns met both business objectives and user needs. Before joining Sage Intacct, Dylan worked as a Senior UX Designer at Guidewire Software, where they were responsible for the UI/UX design of core applications and the design system. They also had a role as a Senior Visual/UX Designer at R2integrated, where their responsibilities included mobile, responsive web, and motion graphics design, as well as front-end development for mobile and web-based applications. Prior to that, Dylan had a principal role at Collective Design and served as a Web Services Director at M7, Inc. They also worked as a Web/Print Designer at Orrell Communications, Inc/Fullmoon Interactive.
Dylan Simpson earned an Associate of Arts degree in Fine Arts from West Valley College between 1990 and 1992.
