Ryan Hemingson

Vice President of Sales at Amber Wave

Ryan Hemingson has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Ryan is currently the Vice President of Sales at Amber Wave since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at The Mennel Milling Company, where they held multiple roles including Vice President, National Flour Sales from August 2020 to August 2022, and Director of Bakery Mix Sales from March 2020 to August 2020.

Before their tenure at The Mennel Milling Company, Hemingson spent over two decades at ADM (Archer Daniels Midland) in varying roles. Ryan served as Director of Sales from February 2016 to July 2019, overseeing nine sales managers and being part of the leadership team for the milling division. As National Accounts Manager from November 2008 to February 2016, they achieved significant sales and revenue growth, selling over 1.7 billion pounds of product and generating revenue of over $320 million in FY 2015.

Ryan also held positions such as Regional Sales Manager from October 2007 to November 2008, Commercial Manager from May 2001 to October 2007, General Manager from January 1998 to May 2001, Assistant Manager from January 2000 to January 2001, and Assistant Mill Manager from November 1996 to January 1998. Ryan'sroles at ADM involved overseeing mill operations, managing P&L, sales, customer relationships, and talent development.

Additionally, Hemingson started their career with ADM as a Grain Merchandiser, where they gained exposure to various aspects of the industry and visited different facilities for six months. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in sales management, leadership, and operational efficiency in the milling industry.

Ryan Hemingson completed their education at Millikin University in 2013-2014, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, they studied at the University of Northern Iowa, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations.
