Sanne Aarts has been working in the engineering field since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at TU Delft. In 2013, they completed an internship in Medical Technology at UMC Utrecht, as well as a Water For Education project with Join The Pipe Foundation and TU Delft. In 2015, they took on the role of Junior Research Engineer at Van Holsteijn en Kemna BV, researching energy and material consumption of Energy Related Products (ERP) within the European Union. In 2018, they began working as an Intern Product Design Engineer at CELLINK. Sanne currently works as a Product Design Engineer at Amber Implants BV. In 2009, they also worked as a Secretary at IO Festival.
Sanne Aarts completed their VWO at Stedelijk Gymnasium in 2008. Sanne then went on to attend Delft University of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design in 2012 and a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering in 2015. Finally, they earned a Master's Degree in Biofabrication from Utrecht University in 2019.
