Shixing Chen is an accomplished Applied Scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and research. Currently serving as an Applied Scientist II at Amazon since February 2020, Shixing previously contributed as a Research Scientist at Ford Motor Company from July 2018 to February 2020, focused on developing a machine learning-based vehicle design assisting system. Shixing's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from Wayne State University (2014-2018), a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution (2012-2014), and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Xidian University (2009-2013). Prior to industry roles, Shixing gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research/Teaching/Student Assistant at Wayne State University from January 2013 to July 2018.
