António Ramires is a seasoned professional in the field of music technology, currently serving as the Lead of Music Technology Research at Beatoven.ai since January 2022. Prior to this role, António was a PhD candidate and researcher at the Music Technology Group at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from September 2018 to February 2023, where research focused on advanced topics in music technology under the guidance of Dr. Xavier Serra. Earlier experience includes serving as a researcher at INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory from August 2017 to July 2018, contributing to the MOG CLOUD SETUP project related to the segmentation and classification of broadcast television content. António Ramires holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Information and Communication Technologies from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Master's degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering from Universidade do Porto, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra.
