Sava Simbe is an experienced executive recruiter with a focus on applied scientific talent, currently serving as the Head of Executive Search for Applied Science Talent at Amazon since November 2017. In this role, Sava leads a global team responsible for recruiting in various domains, including Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Prior to this, Sava held the position of Head of Executive Search for Applied and Academic Talent at Amazon, where Sava created a framework to engage with academic talent. Sava's extensive recruitment background also includes a role as Talent Leader in People Operations at Google and various positions at Amazon, including Sr Strategic Recruiter for Computer Vision and Robotics. Sava began the professional journey as a Recruiting Consultant at MGL Americas and has a strong academic foundation with an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology and Business Administration from The University of Olivet.
