Mauricio Ordonez is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in product management and software engineering. Currently serving as Principal Product Manager Technical at Amazon Core AI since August 2019, Ordonez focuses on addressing complex challenges in artificial intelligence for the consumer organization. Prior to Amazon, significant roles at Microsoft included Head of Product for Microsoft Access, and Principal Product Manager for Microsoft Office and Server and Tools, among others, fostering expertise in productivity software and developer ecosystems. Ordonez began the career as a Software Engineer at Citigroup and Monsoon Software, specializing in distributed computing and computer graphics. Ordonez holds both a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
