Elcin Cetinkaya, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in applied science and machine learning. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Applied Science for Amazon Fulfilment Technologies, Cetinkaya has previously held significant positions including Senior Director of Machine Learning Science at Expedia Group, and multiple roles at Amazon, including Senior Manager of Research Science for Amazon Pharmacy and Manager of Research Science for Consumables Special Projects. Earlier career experience includes a PhD internship at Air Products and Chemicals, as well as roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Lehigh University. Cetinkaya earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Operations Research from Lehigh University, with a focus on optimization and financial engineering.
