Dekang Lin is a Senior Principal Scientist at Amazon since November 2023, with a diverse background in research and academia. Previously, Dekang held positions as a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Google from February 2019 to October 2023, and before that, co-founded Naturali and served as its CTO from April 2016 to January 2019. Dekang's extensive experience at Google also includes a Senior Staff Research Scientist role from April 2004 to March 2016. In academia, Dekang was a Professor at the University of Alberta from 2000 to May 2008 and an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba from 1992 to 2000. Dekang began a research career as a Researcher at the Alberta Research Council in 1991. Dekang Lin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Alberta.
