Andrey Styskin serves as the Director of Web Information Services and Structured Knowledge at Amazon since February 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing the development and management of web-based data and image services that enhance Alexa's Question Answering and user experience, managing a team of over 100 across multiple locations. Prior to Amazon, Andrey held various leadership roles at Yandex from February 2007 to April 2022, including CEO of the Search, Assistant, Ads and Cloud Business Group, where Andrey led a team of over 8,000 in building key online products. Earlier positions include VP of Search and Head of Web Ranking Team at Yandex, as well as programming roles and university lecturing in decision making theory related to cybernetics. Andrey holds a Specialist degree in Engineering Mathematics in System Analysis from National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
