Amanda Doerr is an accomplished technology leader with over 23 years of experience in software development and program management. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Development - Core Shopping at Amazon, Amanda oversees a global team of over 1000 professionals, focusing on core shopping experiences and product development. Previous roles at Amazon include Director of Software Development for Supply Chain Optimization Technologies, where Amanda was instrumental in enabling dropship capabilities, and Senior Manager for Technical Program Management across various initiatives. Prior to joining Amazon, Amanda worked at Microsoft as a Senior Program Manager, leading significant Windows launches and projects in the Entertainment and Devices division. Amanda holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.
