Alice Shobe serves as the Global Director of Amazon Community Impact since February 2017, focusing on enhancing social impact initiatives across the U.S. Previously, Shobe directed Amazon in the Community, establishing key investment priorities such as STEM education, affordable housing, and disaster relief. Shobe's leadership experience includes serving as Interim CEO of Bellwether Housing, where strategic planning and new affordable housing projects were initiated, and as Executive Director of Building Changes, addressing homelessness in Washington State. Additional roles include CEO of Philanthropy Northwest and various positions at Impact Capital. Shobe holds a BA in Urban Policy from Michigan State University and was a fellow at the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
