Lian Ma has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Their most recent position was at amaysim, where they worked as the Business Analyst Lead since September 2023. Prior to that, they held roles such as Senior Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Tech Lead, and Software Engineer at the same company. Before joining amaysim, Lian Ma worked as a website developer at Acidgreen Pty. Ltd. from May 2012 to March 2015. They also briefly worked as a Website Developer at Shutters R US from January 2012 to April 2012.

Lian Ma obtained a Master of Information Technology degree in E-Commerce and Database system from UNSW between 2010 and 2012. In addition, they obtained the certifications of Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in March 2019, and Magento Certified Developer Plus and Magento Certified Developer from Magento in 2015 and 2012, respectively.
