Cherise Bell serves as a Senior Architectural Historian at AmaTerra Environmental, an ERG Company, since November 2017, bringing 18 years of expertise in historic preservation and compliance with Federal guidelines. Previously, Cherise was the Executive Director at KWA from April 2012 to November 2017, where management of finances, staff, and fundraising initiatives was key, alongside ensuring compliance with IRS and GAAP standards. Earlier experience includes the role of Historic Preservation Officer for the City of New Braunfels from February 2008 to April 2012, overseeing the Certified Local Government Program and facilitating the establishment of the city's first historic district. Cherise holds a Master of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Business Administration from UTSA.
