Margarita Shamraeva

QA Manager at Amara

Margarita Shamraeva has a wealth of experience in software testing and quality assurance. Margarita began their career in 2002 as a Software Tester at IPSoft Moscow. Two years later, they became a QA Analyst at CTI Moscow. In 2007, they moved to PulseTrain as a Software Tester where they executed automated load testing on a distributed 4-tier, 11-server system. Margarita also developed test plans and test cases to evaluate the impact of periodically invoked tasks on system stability and performance. In 2010, Margarita became the QA Manager at both Amara Subtitles and Participatory Culture Foundation. At Amara, they performed functionality, exploratory, regression, usability, and user acceptance testing for the Amara subtitling platform. At Participatory Culture Foundation, they performed installation, regression and ad-hoc testing in preparation for Miro v. 3.0 release.

Margarita Shamraeva began their education in 1992 when they attended National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute), where they earned their MSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1998. Margarita then attended Imperial College London in 1998 for a short period of time, studying Mechanical Engineering. In 2009, they attended Hitek Computer School to study Testing Software Applications.
