Osman Kassim currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for multiple organizations, including Amana Takaful Life Plc and Amana Takaful PLC since February 2019 and August 2019, respectively, as well as Vidullanka PLC and Aberdeen Holdings Pvt Ltd since 2003 and October 1978, respectively. Previously, Osman Kassim held the position of Chairman of the Board at Amana Bank from August 2011 to August 2020, retiring after fulfilling the statutory period set by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Osman Kassim's academic accomplishments include an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Staffordshire and an Honorary Doctor of the University from Staffordshire University, both stemming from education at Royal College, Colombo.
