Denitra Griffin, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Denitra started their career in 2001 as the President & Co-Owner of AGB Investigative Services, where they were responsible for strategic planning, operations, HR, finance, and cyber security. Under their leadership, the company's revenues grew to $40 million, with a significant increase since 2014. Denitra founded the Always Giving Back Foundation in 2008 and currently serves as its CEO. Denitra Griffin is also an Adjunct Professor at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago since 2021. In addition, they have served as an Educational Leader at the Chicago Public Schools from 2012 to 2014.
Denitra Griffin, Ed.D. earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Loyola University Chicago from 1989 to 1998. Following this, they pursued further education and received a Master of Education (MEd) in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Roosevelt University between 2000 and 2003. Lastly, Denitra completed their Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from DePaul University, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they obtained certification as a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) from the Illinois State Board of Education in 2011.
