Kiran Lagu is an experienced professional in formulation development with over 26 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Manager of Formulation Development at Alvogen since November 2012, Kiran specializes in the formulation and process development of complex modified release products for the US market. Previous roles include Team Leader at Pharmascience, where leadership was demonstrated in achieving company objectives for modified release dosage forms, and Deputy Manager at Alembic Ltd., overseeing formulation development for domestic and global markets. Early career experience includes positions at Micro Labs Ltd., FDC Ltd., and Cipla Ltd., contributing to a diverse range of product developments including ophthalmic and injectable formulations. Kiran holds a Master's degree in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from Government College of Pharmacy and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from KLES College of Pharmacy.
