Robert Smith-Gillespie is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and systems engineering within the diagnostic and display technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Alveo Technologies since December 2022, Robert focuses on R&D for innovative in vitro diagnostic systems utilizing LAMP technology. Previous roles include Systems Engineer positions at MagstimEGI and Philips Neuro, where Robert contributed to the development of EEG and TMS systems, as well as high-density EEG products. Robert's earlier career encompasses significant contributions as a Sr. Technical Specialist at Riverwood Solutions and Chief Technologist at E3 Displays, alongside roles in technical sales and display technology at Eldim, Rosen Products, and Three-Five Systems. The engineering foundation includes a Master's in Systems Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, and a BA in Physics from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
